Jaws (1975)
An original 1975 Japanese B3 sized local cinema poster for the first theatrical release of Jaws, an American thriller, mega blockbuster that went on to make over $478 million from a $9 milion budget. Its was also the first ever major motion picture to be shot on the ocean. Directed by Steven Speilberg, starring Rod Stieger, Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfus, its about a man-eating great white shark that unleashes chaos on beach community off Long Island. This is one of the most iconic posters in movie history created by Roger Kastel.

A small diagonal fold line on top right corner.  Very small tape repair on the back in the top edge which is not visible. The Japanese text outside of the central image is advertsiing advanced ticket sales and the cinema showings in Orion and Shizuka, Japan
