ADSKI 7.png

An original 1982 Italian poster for the theatrical release of Pink Floyd - The Wall, directed by Alan Parker as an adaptation of the album. Its a ground-breaking rock opera detailing the gradual mental-breakdown of a rock'n'roll superstar. It stars Bob Hoskins, Bob Geldof, Christine Hargreaves, James Laurenson and Eleanor David.

This artwork is by British cartoonist and illustrator Gerald Scarfe, and the characters he created  went on to become the iconic figures in the landscape of pop culture. When Alan Parker saw Gerald's frenzied drawing of the screaming head he said "That's the poster for the film without any doubt".
