An original 1980 Italian Locandina poster for Que viva México! A Russian movie by avant-garde director Sergei Eisenstein. The film project undertaken in 1931-32 by for American socialist author Upton Sinclair and several investors. the film went over budget and was rehashed as other versions. It was eventually conceived as an episodic portrayal of Mexican culture and politics from pre-Conquest civilization to the Mexican revolution. This eye catching illustration by Luciano Crovato is a work of art
