An original 1979 U.S Advance one-sheet for Star Trek, an American science fiction film directed by Robert Wise and based on the television series Star Trek created by Gene Roddenberry, who also served as its producer. It is the first installment in the Star Trek film series. this colourful  iconic artwork is by Bob Peak (My Fair Lady, Apocalypse Now, Superman). This is an Advance poster used to tease the film to audiences before its general release. They produced these posters in far fewer numbers than the theatrical release and are therefore much more rare and collectible.
