An ultra rare 1957 vintage original Polish poster for A Tale From Chikamatsu (also titled Crucified Lovers), is a 1954 Japanese drama film created by Kenji Mizoguchi. Its a moving tale about forbidden love. The wife and a worker run away together to try to escape the wrath of the husband and wind up becoming lovers.

I've had the pleasure of meeting Hibner the artist who is in his 90's and still designing.
