It stars John Belushi as 'Joliet' Jake Blues and Dan Aykroyd as his brother Elwood - characters developed from the recurring musical sketch "The Blues Brothers" on NBC variety series Saturday Night Live. This is a film packed with great action, top tunes full on dance sequences and energetic performances from Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Ray Charles, Cab Calloway. This film has to be in a top 50 somewhere. It cinematically flawless for the first 15mins.
