A rare original 1977 Japanese movie poster from its first release in Japan - Bugsy Malone, a gangster musical set in New York, in 1929. It is a world of would-be hoodlums, show-girls and dreamers. But it is a world where you never see an adult. The entire film is played by kids, average age around 12.

The Japanese title is "Downtown Monogatari" translating to something like 'Downtown Tales'.

There's never been a movie like it; Written and directed by Alan Parker; featuring some young rising stars of the time like Jodie Foster (very young in this role!; "as Tallulah"), Scott Baio (in the title role as "as Bugsy").
