A super rare original 1982 Italian poster for the theatrical release of First Blood (released in Italy as "Rambo"; released in France as "Rambo I"), the Green Beret veteran military action adventure revenge thriller starring Sylvester Stallone (as John Rambo) and David Caruso.

For me this is one of Stallone’s finest films (Copland was pretty good too) and some of his best acting. The film's success spawned a franchise consisting of four sequels (all of which were co-written by and starred Stallone). Cool different artwork by Renato Casaro, an Italian artist also know for movie posters: King Kong, Quadrophenia, Conan the Barbarian, Tenebrae, Octopussy, Never Say Never Again, Rambo: First Blood Part II. This poster is way better than the international version.
