This is not a reproduction or reprint. This is an original poster that was meant to be displayed outside a cinema or in a lobby somewhere in the world. Some of these posters are limited runs, signed, stickered or a super rare style. Some carry the scars of being well loved, either way it will look great on your wall.

A 1976 original  UK Quad film poster for The Food of the Gods,  a science fiction thriller loosely based on a portion of the 1904 H. G. Wells novel by the same name. It’s produced and directed by Bert I. Gordon. Its about a group of friends who travel to a remote Canadian island to hunt, only to be attacked by giant killer animals which have populated the place.

This is one of my favourite posters. Its bold, its brave, its impossible to ignore. It's a beautiful example of British illustrator Tom Chantrell's artistry (Star Wars, One Million Years BC, Death Race 2000). The monster cockerel, gun shots and a young scantily dressed woman draped over the title to seduce the audience into the cinema - genius!
