A rare 1978 original U.S one sheet recalled movie poster for Cheech and Chong's Up in Smoke, the classic 1978 Lou Adler marijuana marihuana pot weed drug smuggling screwball comedy.

Cheech & Chong had been a counterculture comedy team for about ten years before they started reworking some of their material for their first film. While negatively received upon its release, Up in Smoke grossed over $104 million, is credited with establishing the stoner film genre, and is now considered a cult classic.

This is the very first one-sheet for this stoner comedy. The original tagline says, "DON'T go straight to see this movie!" Paramount was accused of promoting drug use, and recalled it and issued all-new posters with a new tagline "You'll be rolling in the aisles!"
