A rare original vintage 1975 Spanish poster for the drug, hippie, counter-culture classic Easy Rider (1969), a tripped -out road adventure written by Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, and Terry Southern, produced by Fonda, and directed by Hopper. Fonda and Hopper play two bikers who travel through the American Southwest and South, carrying the proceeds from a cocaine deal. The success of Easy Rider helped spark the new Hollywood era of filmmaking during the early 1970s. It was the first indie film to actually make big money, quickly becoming what many now consider to be one of the most successful indie films of all time. This poster is from the continuous release of the film when it was launched Spain rather than a re-release.
