A very rare original 1957 U.S theatrical poster to promote the release of the movie Jailhouse Rock, an American crime prison musical drama directed by Richard Thorpe and starring Elvis Presley, Judy Tyler, Mickey Shaughnessy, Vaughn Taylor, and Jennifer Holden.
The film follows a young man (Presley) who is sentenced to prison for manslaughter who is mentored in music by his prison cellmate who realizes his musical abilities. After his release from jail, while looking for a job as a club singer, the young man meets a musical promoter (Tyler) who helps him launch his career. As he develops his musical talent and becomes a star, his self-centered personality begins to affect his relationships. This is possibly Presley's best movie, and the artwork creatd by Bradshaw Crandell features one of the best images of Elvis out of all the 31 movies he starred in.

Good condition. Two horizontal folds across the top and bottom, but there are also two additional light folds on the top and bottom sections. There is a very minor paper nick on the right side. Two smudge marks in the white boarder of the bottom edge. Apart from that this poster displays pretty well and is a very rare collectors piece.
