A  rare original 1966 vintage Australian daybill poster for Modesty Blaise, a British comic spy-fi film directed by Joseph Losey and loosely based on the popular comic strip Modesty Blaise by Peter O'Donnell.

It stars Monica Vitti as "Modesty", opposite Terence Stamp as Willie Garvin and Dirk Bogarde as her nemesis Gabriel.  It was Vitti's first English-speaking role. This vibrant 60's artwork is by the father of the modern movie poster - Bob Peak (Star Trek, Rollerball, My Fair Lady, Yakuza, Apocalypse Now)
