An original 1972 French Grande poster for The Godfather, an Italian / American mafia crime film directed by Francis Ford Coppola, who co-wrote the screenplay with Mario Puzo, based on Puzo's best-selling 1969 novel of the same name. Widely regarded as one of the greatest films of all time. It was the highest-grossing film of 1972 and was, for a time, the highest-grossing film ever made.
This is one of the truely iconic movie posters of all time, with its simple black and white design, created by American graphic designer S. Neil Fujita.
