This is a super rare 1987 poster for the seminal skate film The Search for Animal Chin. It is one of the first skateboarding films to have a plot, rather than simply a collection of skateboarding stunts and music videos. The Bones Brigade embark on a quest to find the first skateboarder, the mythological Won Ton "Animal" Chin who had gone missing.
The movie, directed by former Dogtown Z-Boy and co-founder of Powell Perlata and features their Bones Brigade troupe who ruled the skate scene in the 80's. It includes an all-star line-up of skateboarders: Steve Caballero, Mike McMagill, Tommy Guerro, Lance Mountain, and Tony Hawk.
