A rare original 1967 French moyenne poster for the the theatrical release of  Week-end, a French nightmare romantic fantasy directed  by Jean-Luc Godard,  starring Mireille Darc and Jean Yanne, both of whom were mainstream French TV stars. Its a surreal tale of a married couple going on a road trip to visit the wife's parents with the intention of killing them for the inheritance. Jean-Luc Godard  rose to prominence as a pioneer of the 1960s French New Wave film movement, and is arguably the most influential French filmmaker of the post-war era.
